Frequently Asked Questions
Dogs with aggressive / reactive behaviour issues must be treated with extra care, and we will often need more time and intimacy. We will conduct an assessment to evaluate your canine relationship and help you each step of the way.
Don’t be intimidated, we understand the stresses of living with a reactive dog. The fact of the matter is, your dog is unable to remain composed when you need it, and in those situations, he/she is unable to hear you when you say “stop” or “come”. There are solutions, and we will give you the blueprint to creating and maintaining a safe relationship with your dog.
We DO use treats as part of our training. We believe in the use of motivation to train your dog, whether it be toys, affection, or treats. Prior to training, we will make note of any allergies or health conditions that your dog has, to ensure safe training with treats.
Our training will be conducted within the following dog parks:
- Butterfly Valley Road Pet Garden (Cheung Sha Wan)
- Cyberport Waterfront Park (Pok Fu Lam)
- West Kowloon Waterfront and Art Park (West Kowloon)
Of course! We work and train with all breeds of dogs, no matter big or small.
It depends. Like humans, every dog is different. And akin to raising kids, how much effort, nurture and consistency you give to your dog will correlate with the results you reap.
It is never too early or too late to start training. Old dogs can learn new tricks, and young dogs will be given a foundation and structure. It is always easier to build good habits than fixing bad habits. The sooner you start training, the better!
The more regularly you train, the better the outcome, of course. But training correctly is more important. It is our job to make sure that you enjoy training with your dog. It shouldn’t be a chore. Let us do the hard work so that you reap the rewards.
